Goodsoil volunteers needed at ELCA Churchwide Assembly 2007

Goodsoil needs hands, hearts, and voices to help at the ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Chicago this August. Volunteers are needed to help set things up, take things down, extend hospitality, present a prayerful presence, serve as docents for the Shower of Stoles Project, distribute leaflets, sing hymns. No talent or skill is too big or too small. There will be ample opportunities for all to join in the work of making full inclusion a reality in the ELCA.

Volunteers are strongly encouraged to also register with the ELCA as a "Visitor" on the ELCA website. Registering as a visitor costs $50 per person. The deadline for registering with the ELCA is July 15 and the online registration deadline is July 8. Registered visitors will be able to obtain the discounted rate at the Hyatt, will have access to the visitors' section of the plenary hall, and may participate in the CWA worship services.
